Since 1973, women's groups from local Sanford, NC
churches have been supporting a Meals On
Wheels program for residents living within the city limits of Sanford.
The meals and daily contact by caring volunteers provide one, hot,
nourishing meal a day to temporary or permanently
homebound persons who are unable to provide
meals for themselves. |

To promote the dignity and independence of the
disabled, the elderly, and other homebound
persons by personal contact and delivering
economical, nutritious meals to their homes.
